Ground Handling

Air Botswana has considerable experience in ground handling.

The airline carries out this important customer service at all destinations on the route network except Harare, where Air Zimbabwe handles its flights.

At bustling Johannesburg International Airport, Air Botswana carries out self-handling operations on all its flights, totaling nearly a hundred movements a week.

So successful has been the changeover from contract to self-handling at Johannesburg that Air Botswana is able to offer its handling services to other airlines using the busiest airport in the region. This is a particular advantage for smaller carriers, who have the assurance of a high level of personal attention on a cost-effective basis.

Air Botswana is also able to provide full third-party ground handling services for charter and other flights using its home base, Sir Seretse Khama Airport, Gaborone.
