AIR BOTSWANA’S LEGAL DIRECTOR MR. OSCAR OGONE MOKOKO GABOUTLOELOE APPOINTED TO THE IATA LEGAL ADVISORY COUNCIL

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) recently announced the appointment of Mr. Ogone Oscar Mokoko Gaboutloeloe to the IATA Legal Advisory Council on a three (3) year term. The appointment was made at the IATA Board of Governors and Annual General meeting held in Seoul, Korea in June 2019.1.    Mr. Gaboutloeloe is the Air Botswana General Counsel and Director Legal Services. Mr. Gaboutloeloe is an admitted attorney with an LLB from the University of Botswana, an MSc Strategic Management and Master of Commerce in Trade Law and Policy from the University of Cape Town. He is a lifelong member of the Boy Scouts Movement and volunteers on the Botswana Football Association FIFA First Instance Body. Mr. Gaboutloeloe is a recipient of the Presidential Certificate of Honour (PCH).2.    In his appointment to the IATA Legal Advisory Council, he joins a team of professionals mandated to advice the Board of Governors and other bodies on legal and compliance issues facing both IATA and member airlines.
