Gaborone, Botswana 27 March 2025 - Air Botswana is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Airborne Lifeline Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing critical medical services to remote communities across Botswana.

As part of this partnership, Air Botswana will sponsor six tickets per month for a period of 12 months, facilitating travel between Gaborone, Maun, and Kasane for medical professionals and essential personnel. The total value of this sponsorship amounts to P367,152, reinforcing Air Botswana’s commitment to responsible corporate citizenry and community well-being.

Speaking on the partnership, Ms. Lulu Rasebotsa, CEO of Air Botswana, emphasized the airline’s dedication to supporting initiatives that improve the lives of Batswana:

“Access to healthcare is a fundamental right, and we recognize the vital work that Airborne Lifeline Foundation is doing in reaching underserved communities. By providing air travel support, we aim to ease logistical challenges and ensure that life-saving medical services reach those who need them most.”

Airborne Lifeline Foundation operates medical outreach programs, offering essential healthcare services to communities with limited access to hospitals and clinics. 
This collaboration underscores Air Botswana’s ongoing efforts to play an active role in Botswana’s development beyond aviation, supporting key sectors such as health, tourism, and economic growth.
