Air Botswana conveys sincere apologies to the travelling community for the service disruptions that were experienced over the past week. This was due to a technical defect experienced in one of our aircraft that led to its grounding. While the airline has made every effort to implement the contingency plan to overcome challenges experienced, we realise the plan regrettably did not satisfy all our customers.

In light of the above, the airline continues to take every necessary step to manage disruptions in a manner that reduces inconveniences to its passengers. Air Botswana also reaffirm its commitment to the highest operational and safety standards, which is paramount to its operations, at all times.

As your travel partner, Air Botswana further informs valuable customers that very minimal to no disruptions will be experienced throughout the upcoming holiday season. The airline is working tirelessly to correct the technical defect and implement other recovery plans to ensure operational stability.
