1. In line with established safety processes and procedures, Air Botswana wishes to inform its customers and stakeholders that its Embraer 170 Jet and ATR 72-600 registered A2-ABK are currently grounded to allow maintenance works, following technical challenges experienced recently. 
2. To maintain operational continuity, the Airline has moved swiftly to put a contingency plan in place to minimise disruptions to the travelling public.  
3. As safety remains our cornerstone, Air Botswana successfully underwent an IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) in 2021 and has consistently maintained high safety ratings. The airline therefore wishes to assure its passengers that their safety is a number one priority. The Airline further wishes to express gratitude to its loyal customers and the entire public for their support and patronage
